This role involves leading the regional sales team, managing key accounts, and executing strategic initiatives to position the company as a leading provider of high-precision engineering solutions.
Job Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Report to management participate in overseas exhibitions.
- Develop and execute the 5-year strategic plan, expanding into new product and end-market segments globally.
- Research and analyse market trends, competitor strategies, and industry demands to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop market entry strategies for industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, medical, electronics, automotive and aerospace.
2. Sales & Key Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with key regional and global accounts.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to different industries (consumer electronics, medical, optical, semiconductor, etc.).
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
- Ensure effective customer relationship management (CRM) to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
3. Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration
- Identify potential partnerships, joint ventures, or collaborations to drive market expansion.
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, production, R&D) to develop customized client solutions.
- Provide market insights to align product development with customer needs.
4. Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare proposals, RFQs, and bid submissions.
- Ensure contract terms align with company capabilities, profitability targets, and client requirements.
- Oversee project execution and ensure successful delivery to clients.
5. Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track and analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Prepare regular reports and business forecasts for management.
- Continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights and evolving industry requirements.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (postgraduate qualification preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in sales methodologies.
- Strong background in OEM sales, precision components, and modular assembly preferred.
- Experience in semiconductor or related industries preferred.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
- Excellent networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
