• Opportunity to spearhead strategic deployments at the intersection of AI, robotics, and campus innovation.
Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Business Development Manager, to accelerate company's strategic partnerships and commercial growth across Singapore. You will work closely with product and research teams and engage with stakeholders - from developers to local property MCSTs - to unlock new deployment and pilot opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with property developers, MCSTs (Management Corporations Strata Title), and facility managers to secure deployment sites for company's robotics-based delivery systems.
• Act as primary liaison between company, university (including labs, professors, research centers), and relevant administrative units, maximizing synergies with existing partnership.
• Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with smart-campus and smart-living project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to champion pilot studies, proof-of-concept deployments, and innovation showcases.
• Conduct market research to map potential verticals (e.g., campus retail, commercial estates, residential precincts) and develop tailored BD strategies.
• Lead pitches, presentations, and negotiations with prospective partners.
• Track and report business development performance metrics (e.g. number of leads, agreements, pilot activations, site rollouts).
• Participate in industry events, demo days, and stakeholder workshops to promote company.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Engineering, Technology Management, or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in Business Development, partnerships, or real-estate/developer stakeholder engagement, ideally with exposure to robotics, smart-city, or smart-campus solutions.
• Background in innovation ecosystems (e.g., university industry offices, corporate labs, research incubators) preferred.
• Possess strong network with local developers, property managers, MCSTs, or facilities management teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in front of senior stakeholders and academic collaborators.
