Business Development Manager (Regional / International Markets)

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across regional and international markets in the engineering-driven PCB, EMS, box build, contract manufacturing, and design & engineering services sectors. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with strong technical insights, market understanding, and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Development & Sales
  • Identify and target new business opportunities across assigned regions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms and close contracts with clients.


2. Account & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, channel partners, and industry influencers.
  • Manage key accounts to drive growth in both existing and new product/service lines.


3. Technical & Solution Selling
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to propose solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  • Understand technical drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements in PCB/EMS/box build manufacturing.

4. Market Intelligence
  • Monitor competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide market feedback to management for product positioning and business strategy.

5. Collaboration & Reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports.


Eligibility Criteria

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  2. Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in business development, sales, or key account management in PCB, EMS, or related manufacturing industries. Proven track record of securing and managing regional/international accounts.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of PCBs, EMS processes, box build assembly, and engineering design workflows. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
  4. Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Chinese (additional regional languages a plus)
  5. Travel: Willingness to travel as and when needed within assigned territories.
