Established in 1997, St.Hua Private School is a SkillsFuture-accredited Private Education Institution (PEI) in Singapore, providing industry-relevant training to upskill adult learners. We work with companies to address workforce transformation and skills gaps across multiple sectors.

Overview

We are looking for a driven and resourceful intern to support our Business Development, Sales & Marketing, and HR operations functions. This role is ideal for Business School students who are looking to gain exposure to real-world business functions within a lean, fast-paced SME environment. You'll work closely with our commercial and operations teams on live projects and client-facing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Strategy
  • Conduct research to support new or ongoing projects and proposals.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and preparing internal reports.

2. Human Resource Support
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and support inter-departmental coordination.
  • Assist in the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, on-boarding, engagement, development, and off-boarding.
  • Support HR documentation, including contract preparation and manpower planning.
  • Maintain internal databases and assist with HR-related client communications.
  • Convey information clearly across teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to general office admin and customer service tasks as required.

3. Sales & Marketing
  • Support lead generation, client communications, and follow-up.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, invoices, and maintaining customer records.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, content creation, and social media engagement.

Learning Outcomes
  • Gain hands-on exposure to sales operations, business development strategy, and HR processes.
  • Understand the inner workings of a Private Education Institution (PEI) and SME operations.
  • Develop communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge from modules in a real business setting.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate student in Business, Economics, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Human Capital Management, Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage, as the role may involve communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, and digital collaboration tools (e.g. Google Drive, Google Workspace).
  • Adaptable, organised, and keen to learn across functional domains.

Working hours
  • Monday to Friday (10:00 - 19:00)

Salary
  • SSGD 1,600 per month*

  • 5 minute walk from Jurong East MRT.
