Accounts Assistant/Executive (5-day)


ALPAQ SEAFOOD PROCESSING PTE. LTD.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Verify and match invoices with purchase orders/delivery notes; ensure necessary documentation and approvals before payment.
  • Payments: Schedule and process timely payments via authorised methods; track due dates to maintain good supplier relationships.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding matters.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate AP records, vendor information, and documentation to comply with audit requirements.
  • Month-End Support: Prepare AP reports, accruals, and supporting documents for month-end closing and audits.
  • Expense Claims: Process employee reimbursements accurately and promptly.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with suppliers, including Chinese-speaking stakeholders, regarding payment status, documentation, and queries.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest ways to improve AP workflow efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Certificate/Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounts payable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of accounting software AUTOCOUNT is advantageous
  • Able to manage multiple entities and handle high-volume transactions
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Bilingual in English (Spoken & Written) and Chinese (spoken) to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and vendors
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative team player
  • Willing to work at Jurong Food Hub
  • Salary will commensurate with experience
