Key Responsibilities:

  1. Invoice Preparation:
    Generate and issue invoices based on sales orders, delivery notes, or contracts.
    Ensure pricing, quantity, and tax details are accurate.
  2. Verification and Reconciliation:
    Cross-check invoices against purchase orders, delivery documents, or customer contracts.
    Resolve any discrepancies in billing.
  3. Record Maintenance:
    Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and relevant correspondence.
    Update invoicing systems and databases regularly.
  4. Client Communication:
    Respond to invoice-related queries from customers or internal departments.
    Follow up with clients for pending payments, if required.
  5. Compliance:
    Ensure invoices comply with relevant tax regulations and internal company policies.

Skills and Qualities Required:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Basic accounting or finance knowledge
  • Proficiency in invoicing software or ERP systems
  • Effective communication skills
