We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. You will support daily accounting operations including data entry, reconciliations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills, a keen eye for financial accuracy and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Sales & Collection

• Ensure all retail sales from stores are properly recorded in accounts and ensure all are collectable
• Check and close monthly accounts including updating certain listings (float money, vouchers)
• Monitor daily salesand reconcile sales with collection from bank
• Ad-hoc dealing with staff, IT team and bank for any issues with sales data and discrepancies in collection
• To submit government survey monthly Wholesales Invoicing
• To issue invoice, debit notes and credit notes to overseas/local customers
• Ensure all necessary shipping documents are emailed to customers correctly
• Monitor the aging and follow-up the payments from customers and logistics team
• Ad-hoc checking and issuing credit notes for back room and defective items to overseas customers
• To ensure all invoices recorded in QB
• Monthly checking to logistics sales and purchase file for account closing E-Commerce Sales
• Fee checking and post journal to QB for monthly e-commerce sales, shipping income and Shopee charges
• To reconcile the Shopify payout to sales, charges and shipping income in AR Aging

Key Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Accountancy
• 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous, analytical and have a positive work attitude
• A team player with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to handle high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
