We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Sales Engineer to join our team. This role will be based in Singapore and may include other regions, such as Malaysia, Taiwan, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an enthusiastic person, who is willing to learn, has a passion for delivering excellence in customer service and technical solutions to satisfy customers' needs, has good communication skills, and wants to work in a highly motivated environment.
To be considered for this opportunity you will preferably have a background in Mechanical Trades/Mechanical Engineering and several years of Sales Experience in the region in the related field.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Sales Engineer to join our team. This role will be based in Singapore and may include other regions, such as Malaysia, Taiwan, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand new markets and customer segments within Singapore and potentially neighboring regions.
- Strengthen and grow existing customer relationships.
- Actively promote and sell our industrial gearbox solutions to OEMs and end users,
- Identify customer needs and provide technical and commercial support.
- Represent the company professionally and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Generate new business leads, and foster current customer relationships
- Promoting the roll-out of new offerings and value propositions
- Performing all required sales activities for the assigned territory
- Evaluating customer requirements and developing a solution to meet those requirements
- Preparing and submitting offers to customers
- Negotiating offers with customers
- Be the customer advocate within the Flender organisation, taking responsibility for all customer activities, ensuring a timely and positive outcome
- Perform sales administration tasks such as forecasting and reporting, pipeline management, follow-ups, CRM management, etc.
- Managing any escalations within customer accounts

- Proven sales experience, ideally in industrial drive technology or related sectors.
- Knowledge and experience in selling FLENDER Industrial Gearboxes.
- Strong understanding of industrial applications and customer requirements.
- Ability to understand customer's needs and translate them to technical solutions/ business offers
- Demonstrated ability to develop new markets and manage complex sales cycles.
- Experience working in or with international companies.
- Independent, results-driven, and proactive mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel
- At least intermediate user IT skills and experience with CRM
- Team-player
- Adaptability
