Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to generate new leads and grow existing client relationships within freight forwarding.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, client visits, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize logistics solutions tailored to client needs.
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to proactively identify market opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets aligned with company objectives.
Requirement:
- Minimum 3-5 years of business development / sales experience related to freight forwarding services
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willing to travel for client engagement and business development activities.
