Job Summary:

In this dynamic role, you will embody Navigate Public Relations 's core principles of professionalism, proactiveness, and personability. You will manage client relationships, develop innovative Public Relations strategies, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality Public Relations services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships, demonstrating professionalism and understanding of client needs. Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and personability.
  2. Public Relations Strategy Development and Implementation: Collaboratively design and implement Public Relations strategies that align with clients’ business objectives; showcasing creativity, proactiveness, Public Relations best practice and a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
  3. Team Collaboration: Foster a positive, supportive environment, coordinating with account executives, Public Relations consultants, and other global team members and external partners to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  4. Campaign Management: Lead Public Relations campaigns from inception to conclusion, encompassing media relations, social media, content creation, and event coordination, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
  5. Reporting: Regularly report on campaign progress, client feedback, and team performance. Assess campaign effectiveness and offer proactive suggestions for improvement.
  6. Industry knowledge: Stay on top of industry trends and best practice, competitor activities, and media opportunities, leveraging this knowledge to inform and improve Public Relations strategies and campaigns. Continue to develop and expand industry network and understanding.
  7. Account Optimisation: Monitor and manage client servicing to ensure it remains within acceptable limits, proactively identifying and addressing any risks of client attrition. Maintain a balance between delivering exceptional service and managing resources effectively, ensuring client satisfaction while avoiding over-servicing. Escalate potential issues to senior management promptly. Support in identifying growth opportunities within current client accounts.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in public relations, with a track record of managing client relationships and executing successful Public Relations campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the international maritime industry is desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills, embodying professionalism and personability.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, showcasing proactiveness and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Public Relations tools and software.
  • Commitment to continued learning and development.
  • Considerate and kind.
