Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles including trucks and construction equipment.

• Diagnose and repair electrical wiring faults and vehicle air conditioning systems (this is a mandatory).

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles comply with safety standards.

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

• Collaborate with other mechanics and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.

• Must have strong skills in diagnosing wiring and electrical issues.

• Must be proficient in air conditioning system repairs for heavy vehicles.

• Proven knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and hydraulics.

• Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's license (preferably with heavy vehicle endorsement).
