Responsibility

• Handle daily quality control for incoming products and in-process check of products for manufacturing and operations.
• Develop/update SOPs for existing and newly-developed analytical methods.
• Inventory management of samples.
• Conduct root cause analyses involving products quality investigation and implement corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
• Perform supplier quality audits.
• General maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• Inventory monitoring of laboratory consumables and chemicals.
• Perform good laboratories housekeeping.
• Assist and support Operations and Warehouse Manager in Quality Management System and lead our quality certification process (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Carry out lab testing and conduct internal & external quality checks.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Science or other Science related discipline
• Min 1 year(s) of relevant experience in the Chemical / Petrochemical industry
• Knowledge of Certificate of Analysis (COA), Internal and Final Quality Control (IQC/FQC)
• Highly self-motivated, independent and resourceful
• Possess good communication skills and observation skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications
• Good organization and time management skills
• Willing to work at Tuas
