Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Surface Grinder Operator. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided. You will assist in the setup and operation of surface grinding machines to produce high-precision metal components used in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual or semi-automatic surface grinding machines
• Assist in setting up workpieces and tools according to specifications
• Perform basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Monitor grinding processes to ensure product quality and consistency
• Clean and maintain machines and work area to ensure safe operations
• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Support senior machinists or supervisors with tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

• No experience required - training will be provided
• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent
• Willingness to learn and work with precision machining equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
• Basic understanding of workplace safety
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Positive working attitude and team player
