Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Production Supervisor to lead and support a high-performing production team specializing in the repair and overhaul of precision components in a high-volume, high-mix environment. This position requires a proactive leader who excels in talent development, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and motivate production teams, ensuring smooth workflow and the effective execution of repair and overhaul processes.
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, training, and development, creating a culture of growth and recognition.
• Foster a safe, organized, and clean work environment by setting and driving 6S standards.
• Manage daily production operations, optimizing machine performance and overseeing capacity planning.
• Champion Lean and Kaizen initiatives, continuously improving processes and eliminating inefficiencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaborations to streamline part processing and resolve operational challenges swiftly.
• Ensure accurate data management within the ERP system (Syteline) and maintain compliance with statutory overtime regulations.
• Oversee resource allocation, delivery metrics, risk assessment, and ensure optimal Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Conduct routine meetings and toolbox talks, fostering clear communication and alignment across teams.
• Promote a positive and disciplined work culture, driving high employee morale and engagement.
• Provide strategic direction to cell associates, helping them resolve production and quality-related concerns effectively.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements, reducing waste while enhancing operational productivity.
• Cultivate collaborative partnerships, working closely with stakeholders to meet shared objectives.
• Drive effective grievance resolution and disciplinary management, ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Oversee attendance tracking, leave scheduling, overtime assignments, and annual performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in production/operations within a manufacturing setting.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role, leading technicians and overseeing production workflows.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage with various support teams and departments effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking ability, and deadline management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and planning skills.
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a dynamic team environment.
• High integrity and ethical standards, ensuring professionalism in all operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of machining and metal fabrication processes.
• Experience with Thermal Coating, Welding (Manual and Auto), Heat Treatment, Machining (Manual and CNC), and CNC programming is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts if required.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
