A leading European corporate and investment bank with a strong and growing presence in Singapore is looking for a KYC Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join its regional team. This role offers excellent exposure to APAC client types and regulatory frameworks, while operating within a robust European compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform independent Quality Assurance reviews of KYC files to ensure they meet internal standards and regulatory requirements (MAS Notice 626, EU AML/CFT directives).
• Assess the quality, completeness, and risk-based rationale of CDD reviews, including documentation, screening results, risk classification, and source of wealth/funds analysis.
• Identify and escalate quality deficiencies, control gaps, and recurring themes to relevant stakeholders (Compliance, KYC Operations, RM teams).
• Provide feedback and coaching to KYC analysts and RMs to drive first-time-right culture.
• Support the design and continuous improvement of QA methodology, review checklists, and reporting templates.
• Collaborate with global QA counterparts to align on best practices and ensure consistency of standards.
• Prepare regular QA reports highlighting key findings, trends, and recommended remediation actions.
• Contribute to internal audits, regulatory reviews, and policy updates where needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance, KYC/CDD, or AML, with at least 2 years in a QA or review role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and international standards (e.g., FATF, EU AML directives).
• Attention to detail and the ability to assess whether a file tells a clear, defensible, and risk-based story.
• Confident communicator with the ability to provide constructive feedback and influence outcomes across teams.
• Proactive and analytical mindset, with strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Prior experience working in a European or global banking environment is an advantage.
