Job Summary:

A leading manufacturer of advanced machinery seeks a highly experienced Quality Manager to oversee and maintain the quality of its complex products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, in-depth technical knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain top-tier product quality from start to finish, using rigorous checks and testing at every stage.
• Continuously refine manufacturing methods to boost efficiency and minimize flaws, leveraging techniques like Six Sigma and Lean principles.
• Lead and develop a quality control team, ensuring they have the skills and resources for effective inspections.
• Investigate and resolve quality problems, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain adherence to internal and external quality standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Guarantee that all incoming materials meet quality specifications through supplier collaboration and audits.
• Track, analyze, and report on quality data using statistical methods to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Address customer quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and maintain open communication.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or quality management).
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing manufacturing operations; experience with advanced machinery or related industries (aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment) preferred.
• Certifications: CQM/CQE (ASQ), Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Lean Manufacturing certifications.
• Expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, SPC), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
