Job Summary:

The Parts Manager is responsible for the complete lifecycle management of spare parts and components used in the production of advanced machinery. This includes procurement, inventory control, and distribution to support manufacturing, maintenance, and repair activities. The role requires strong leadership skills, effective cross-functional collaboration (engineering, production, procurement), and a commitment to cost optimization and quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee parts inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and optimal stock levels. Conduct regular audits and implement control systems.
• Source and procure parts, meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
• Ensure timely parts delivery to production and maintenance, minimizing disruptions.
• Supervise and develop the parts team, fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Manage the parts budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and controlling expenditures.
• Maintain quality standards for all parts, working with quality control to inspect and address issues.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to forecast demand and improve processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to parts management processes, streamlining operations and reducing downtime.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in parts/inventory/supply chain management in advanced manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems are preferred
