Production- Reports directly to the Master Scheduler
- Coordinate production workflows in the shopfloor
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delay
- Plan a weekly machine loading plan and 3 months forecasted loading plan
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Recommend to Master Scheduler on deployment of workers and other staff to meet production and delivery requirements
- Recommend shift schedule to Master Scheduler accordingly to production needs
- Liaise with Purchasing and Suppliers for material deliveries and outsourcing schedules
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time
- Address issues whenever they arise with the aim of minimal disruption
- Obtain output information (Number of finished products etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance
- Collaborate with Quality, Sales, Store, Engineering and other departments to ensure good production flow and coordination
- Manage and train the assistant planners and subordinates
- Any other duties assigned by the Manager
Requirements
- Diploma or further education/certificates is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principle
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Able to converse in English and Mandarin
- Willing to learn and be a team player
