Job Description:

• Shipyard, shipbuilding/shiprepair experience is a MUST for this position

• Team player with leadership qualities

• Able to plan, coordinate and monitor ship building and repair actiivites

• Able to work under pressure,extended working hours and tight schedules

• Professionally sound and to be able to trouble shoot mechanical / hydraulic defects at Riding crew at Sea / Anchorage.

.Sailing experience will be an added advantage

• Able to work Extended working hours and week ends too.

• Strong persuasion and negotiation skill with a variety of people at all levels

• Ability to manage foreign workers

• Possess good leadership qualities

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

• Able to handle unexpected challenges

• Strong project management skill. Ability to manage multiple projects, plan against timeline and meet deadline, and forecast, budget and monitor project costs

• MOM relevant or equivalent certificates required

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the planning, leading and supervision of production team to ensure that works are carried out in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
• Discussion, advising and coordination of works with all relevant parties
• Preparation / generation of project reports and drawings as required
• Observe and maintain safety rules and regulations
