Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Inspector with experience in CMM inspection and the Oil & Gas manufacturing industry. The role involves performing in-process, final, and outgoing inspections for CNC plastics, CNC metallic, and elastomer products, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards. The inspector will also support engineering teams in first article (FA) inspections and quality defect troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection Duties:

• Perform in-process inspection for CNC plastics, CNC metallic, and elastomer products, ensuring timely completion of inspection records.
• Conduct final inspection for CNC plastics, CNC metallic, and elastomer products, completing inspection reports in M3(ERP System).
• Execute outgoing inspection for CNC plastics, CNC metallic, and elastomer products, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and documenting inspection results.
• Carry out outgoing inspection for traded products, verifying compliance with customer specifications and completing inspection reports.

Engineering & Quality Support:

• Assist engineering teams with first article (FA) inspections for CNC plastics, CNC metallic, and elastomer products, including inspection report creation and submission.
• Provide support in troubleshooting day-to-day quality defects and assisting with quality investigations.
• Raise Internal Deviation Reports (IDR) for daily inspection fallouts and coordinate with engineering to resolve and close out actions.

Compliance & Process Improvement:

• Ensure all inspections comply with ISO, API, and customer-specific standards.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports for audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance quality control and reduce non-conformances.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Control.
• Experience in CMM inspection (e.g., Mitutoyo) and other precision measurement tools.
• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry or working with CNC-machined parts.
• Strong knowledge of CNC plastics, metallic, and elastomer products.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and GD&T interpretation.
• Experience in inspection report creation (M3/ERP System preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
