Manager / Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Administration (Social Cohesion Research) [RSIS]

The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a Graduate School of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is a leading research-intensive and teaching institution in strategic and international affairs and policy-oriented think tank in the Asia-Pacific region.

RSIS invites applications for the position of Manager / Senior Manager in RSIS under the Social Cohesion Research team. The successful applicant is expected to support the administration, strategic development, and flagship events (including research seminars and the International Conference on Cohesive Societies) organised under the Social Cohesion Research team. He/she will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as with public agencies on various aspects of corporate compliance. He/She is also responsible for budget forecast, monitoring project expenditures, and assessment and tracking of programme impact evaluation.

The successful candidate should:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience in social sciences with a robust understanding of policy development in Singapore;
• Have experience in the public sector/media, academic institution, non-profit or community organisation;
• Have relevant experience in project and events management, including matters related to corporate, legal, and financial compliance in Singapore;
• Have an interest on Singapore and the region, including but not limited to issues related to race and religion, inequality, social diversity, and geopolitical dynamics; and
• Possess excellent writing and management skills, and is meticulous with the details and cultural nuances.
