Simple Food Solutions is a fast-growing food manufacturing company based in Singapore. We specialise in ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook solutions, supporting over 60 food brands through central kitchen production, OEM manufacturing, and product development.
We are entering our next phase of growth and are looking for a hands-on operations leader to help scale our systems, strengthen production capabilities, and build a strong operational foundation for expansion.
Role Overview
This role is for an experienced and driven operations professional who enjoys building, improving, and scaling manufacturing environments. You will work directly with the Managing Director to strengthen production structure, improve efficiency, and prepare the organisation for its next stage of growth.
This is not a corporate desk role. We are looking for someone practical, energetic, and willing to be on the ground to make things work.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Production Management
• Oversee daily central kitchen and manufacturing operations
• Drive productivity, yield improvement, and waste reduction
• Ensure production planning aligns with sales demand and capacity
• Strengthen SOP implementation and operational discipline
Process Improvement and Scaling
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Introduce structured workflows to support business growth
• Support automation, digitalisation, and ERP driven planning initiatives
• Build systems that allow the company to scale sustainably
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop supervisors and production teams
• Foster accountability, ownership, and performance culture
• Support manpower planning and training structures
Supply Chain and Cost Control
• Work closely with procurement and planning teams
• Improve forecasting accuracy and inventory control
• Drive cost optimisation without compromising product quality
Quality, Compliance and Food Safety
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards and certifications
• Ensure operational readiness for audits and regulatory requirements
Requirements
• 8 to 15 years of experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, central kitchen, or related industries
• Proven track record managing production or factory operations
• Experience improving processes, increasing output, or scaling operations
• Hands-on leadership style, comfortable working on the ground with teams
• Familiarity with HACCP, ISO, or food safety environments preferred
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or production planning systems is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to execute under fast-paced conditions
• Candidates from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, or Indonesia are welcome to apply

Compensation and Benefits
• Monthly salary range, SGD $6,000 to $7,000 depending on experience
