As the Strategic Planning and Commercial Operations Lead, you will own BytePlus's strategic planning, GTM planning, organizational and team resource coordination, and business progress reviews. You will collaborate closely with product, R&D, sales, marketing, legal, PR, and other teams, and build and manage a high-performing, cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research across regions and countries globally, especially for cloud and AI technologies, including competitor intelligence, customer demand analysis, market sizing, and trend forecasting.
- Define target customer profiles and account lists, and develop overall GTM strategies as well as region-specific GTM plans accordingly.
- Organize regular meetings to ensure efficient operation across teams, drive issue resolution, and continuously improve internal communication and collaboration efficiency.
- Develop the annual business plan for the business unit, support regional teams in completing their annual business plans, and present strategic updates and business reviews to management.
- Lead the planning and execution of key industry campaigns, and be accountable for efficiency and results.
- Support product planning and iteration, drive product launches across regions, and facilitate cross-functional business planning and goal-setting discussions.
- Communicate frequently with regional teams and product/tech teams to align goals and ensure effective collaboration.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, establish best practices, build high-performing business planning and project management capabilities at the country level, and oversee core people management processes including recruitment, budgeting, and performance reviews.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, or related fields.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English in a professional work environment, due to close business collaborations and frequent communications with stakeholders based in Mandarin-speaking markets
- 5+ years of experience in project management, strategy consulting, or sales operations in a fast-paced environment, including at least 1+ years in a people management role.
- Proven experience in strategic initiatives and GTM planning/operations, especially in Southeast Asia, APAC, and Japan markets.
- Experience in software, technology, or cloud-related companies, with solid knowledge of Cloud, SaaS, AI, and the broader tech ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively.
