Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the safe, reliable and cost-effective operations of mechanical assets by leading maintenance execution, supervising resources and maintaining compliance with engineering, regulatory and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee mechanical maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable and compliant operations of assets.
• Supervise the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and replacement of static and rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, vessels, piping, valves and loading arms.
• Manage contractors, vendors and in-house teams to ensure safe work execution without disruption to operations.
• Develop, review and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance plans, schedules and procedures in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
• Analyze equipment performance to identify defects, implement improvements and extend asset life while reducing maintenance costs.
• Ensure maintenance activities, PM checklists and risk assessments comply with company standards, industry codes and regulatory requirements.
• Manage maintenance resources including manpower planning, training, coaching, KPI achievement and emergency response readiness.
• Oversee maintenance budgets, spare parts management, service contracts and documentations to support efficient and cost-effective operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical or related process industries.
• At least 3 years of experience managing maintenance technicians and maintenance budgets - experience using SAP for maintenance scheduling will be an added advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience with static and rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, vessels, piping, valves and loading arms.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulations - certifications in API, vibration and other analysis standards will be an added advantage.
