About Our Client

This organisation is an established and stable SME in the food and beverage industry in Singapore, specialising in wholesale distribution business.

Job Description

• Build and maintain structured daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
• Track and analyse key metrics including inventory, stock movement, shrinkage, order fulfilment, supplier performance, and quality results.
• Conduct on-ground quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring freshness, packaging, and proper storage conditions.
• Develop and enforce basic quality control SOPs and manage quality issues and corrective actions.
• Act as a central point of coordination across warehouse, procurement, sales, logistics, and finance teams.
• Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend practical improvements.
• Support the GM in introducing structure, strengthening reporting discipline, and training teams on basic controls and standards.
• Lead of team of direct reports.

The Successful Applicant

• 5-10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or quality control, preferably within food distribution, FMCG, or wholesale trading.
• Strong working knowledge of inventory management, warehousing operations, and food quality standards.
• Advanced MS Office skills, with a strong focus on operational reporting.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, both in-office and on the ground.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to work across teams and present insights to management.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, hands-on, and accountable, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle sensitive operational data.
