Position: Senior Scientist / Principal Scientist - AI & Manufacturing

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist or Principal Scientist to lead the development of AI technologies that deliver innovative digital solutions for predictive and prescriptive analytics in manufacturing. This role involves defining growth opportunities, engaging industry partners, and leading a team of scientists and engineers to translate industrial challenges into deployable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI models to support predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Explore and advance new AI research opportunities in manufacturing.
• Develop research strategies and proposals to secure competitive funding.
• Collaborate with industry partners to translate challenges into research projects.
• Lead a team of scientists and engineers to deliver industry-focused solutions.
• Drive R&D initiatives in Cyber-Physical Production System technologies.
• Manage technology development, production test bedding, and algorithm transfer.
• Provide innovative solutions for autonomous manufacturing and Industry 4.0 applications.
• Stay updated on Industry 4.0 standards to ensure state-of-the-art solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• Open to candidates at all experience levels with relevant qualifications (Senior Scientist requires ~7 years' experience in developing and deploying machine learning and data analytics solutions).
• Proficient in AI programming, data analytics, and machine learning, with expertise in data modeling, signal processing, and a proven record of research publications.
• Demonstrates strong leadership with experience managing teams and driving technical projects.
• Proven track record of research publications with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused, quality-driven, and a proactive, technically motivated problem solver who delivers innovative solutions.

• Work Location: West, Singapore
• Job Type: Contract - 3 Years (Extendable)
• Salary Range: S$6,000 - S$14,200
