Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager to lead and manage production planning and coordination activities within a structured manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring effective production scheduling, resource planning, and operational alignment to meet delivery timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Quality, and Planning teams to oversee production performance, manage capacity and manpower planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and oversee production plans and schedules to meet operational targets, delivery commitments, and quality requirements
• Coordinate production capacity planning, manpower allocation, and resource utilisation to support efficient manufacturing operations
• Monitor production performance indicators, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Prepare and review production reports, operational dashboards, and management updates on production performance and constraints
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Planning teams to resolve production issues and optimise workflows
• Ensure production activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and quality management systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness
• Communicate production plans, performance outcomes, and improvement initiatives to management and relevant stakeholders

• Provide guidance and oversight to production teams to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  
  Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, or industrial operations
• Prior experience in a planning, coordination, or managerial role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyse operational data and prepare structured production and performance reports
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
