Job Description: Production Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates all aspects of the production process to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within quality standards. This role leads a team of production staff, monitors operations, enforces safety protocols, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure production schedules are met.
• Lead, coach, and motivate production team members to achieve individual and team goals.
• Monitor production output and quality to maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow.
• Ensure all production activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in good working order.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, including productivity, downtime, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with quality control to address product defects or non-conformances.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Assist in training new employees and conducting performance evaluations.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with the supply chain team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and MS Office applications.
