Job Description
  • Plan and prepare daily meals in accordance with menu and nutritional standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with SFA and food hygiene regulations
  • Work closely with instructors to involve trainees in kitchen activities (e.g. food prep, plating, cleaning)
  • Support training of culinary skills and kitchen safety to trainees
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is well maintained and properly handled
  • Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and purchasing needs
  • Prepare food for internal events or catering projects as assigned
  • Uphold APSN CFA's mission of providing meaningful vocational training and inclusive employment opportunities

Job Requirements
  • Higher NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in any discipline
  • Possess 2 years of working experience as a Cook
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Able to interact well with people with special needs and their caregivers
  • Familiarity with Halal practices and basic costing principles
