Job Description

We Are Heroes is hiring a Post Production Generalist to join our growing team of hybrid creatives and content makers.

This role is critical to our regional expansion plans, especially for Mandarin-speaking markets. You'll need a full-stack post-production skillset - from Adobe Suite to Blender or Autodesk - and the ability to take a project from raw footage to polished delivery with minimal supervision.

You must also be comfortable working in a Mandarin-speaking environment, as future clients and collaborators will be based in China. This role is designed for an experienced, adaptable creative professional with leadership potential, and it will support our upcoming plans to launch a China office within the next 3 years. Willingness to relocate when required is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle offline/online editing, motion graphics, and VFX
• Execute colour grading and visual finishing
• Create and animate in 2D/3D environments using Blender or Autodesk tools
• Lead creative decisions across post-production workflows
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including Chinese-speaking clients)
• Contribute to pipeline improvements and creative standards
• Mentor and supervise junior editors when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Animation, or related fields
• 3-4 years of full-time, professional experience in post-production
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop
• Working knowledge of Blender and/or Autodesk software (Maya, 3ds Max, or similar)
• Native-level proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Strong creative instincts and attention to detail
• High initiative, self-starter attitude
• Clear leadership potential and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Willingness to relocate to China when required as part of future expansion

Desirable

• Experience in leading teams or post-production units
• Prior work with regional clients or cross-border teams
• Familiarity with Chinese market workflows and timelines
