The Institute of High Performance Computing, part of A*STAR in Singapore, is seeking a talented, motivated researcher with experience in engineering design, simulation, and manufacturing, with a knowledge of additive manufacturing, active functional materials, Multiphysics simulations, micro-electro-mechanical systems, and robotics. Experience with 4D printing, shape memory materials, and material characterization methods is beneficial.

Job Requirements

• PhD in engineering

• Strong background in computational design and optimization, including computer-aided design (eg: AutoCAD) and modeling and simulation (eg: ANSYS, Abaqus, or COMSOL)

• Knowledge of additive manufacturing (3D printing), robotics, micro-electro-mechanical systems

• Good coding skills for scientific computing (eg: Matlab or python)

• Possess good publication track record
