Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motor Car Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and fluid checks.
• Repair or replace faulty components in the engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems.
• Use computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
• Inspect, test, and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Conduct test drives to verify the success of repairs.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Work as part of a team to improve workshop efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Motor Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
Hands-on experience in engine repairs, transmission work, and suspension maintenance.
Ability to interpret service manuals and technical diagrams.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Automotive Technician Certification (NITEC, WSQ, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience with Hybrid & Electric Vehicles is a plus.
Familiarity with European, Japanese, or Continental vehicles.
