Skills and Qualifications
- Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules and processes to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency
- Hire, train, and manage production sta, including setting and monitoring performance goals
- Collaborating on new product ideas, developing recipes, conducting tests, and overseeing the transition from concept to production.
- Create and maintain inventory records, manage raw material inventory levels and minimise wastage.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards
- Identify and address production issues and area(s) for improvement
- Monitoring production costs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in production facilities
- Prepare production reports and communicate with upper management regarding production goals and results
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in food production management
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures
- Familiar with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions effectively
- Ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and utilize relevant software and systems
