About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Procurement Assistant / Purchaser to support our daily vessel operations and procurement activities. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Officer to ensure timely and accurate processing of requisitions and delivery orders. This is a field-based position requiring regular outfield work and occasional overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily ship operational requirements and procurement tasks
• Process and key in purchase orders accurately into procurement software
• Verify delivery orders and ensure goods are received according to specifications
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and vessel crew to fulfill requisitions
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of procurement records
• Support Senior Officer with follow-ups and procurement tracking
• Conduct on-site deliveries and inspections as required

Requirements:

• Valid Class 3 Driver's License (company vehicle provided for outfield duties)
• Comfortable with majority of work done outfield and open to working overtime when needed
• Meticulous with data entry and good with basic software systems
• Prior experience in ship supply, logistics, or purchasing is an advantage but not mandatory
• Team player with strong communication and time management skills
