• Position: Procurement/Purchasing Assistant (CONSTRUCTION)
• Location: Mountbatten Square
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm/8.45am - 5.45pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,000 + Performance Bonus + 12 Days Annual Leave + Medical Benefits
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Building Construction

Main Responsibilities:

• Process the procurement of all material raised in the Material / Tool Requisition (MR) form
• Source quotation for products required
• Assist on budgetary & cost control
• Review all delivery orders from site
• Tracking of diesel consumption for all project
• Evaluate and maintain approved list of supplier
• Obtaining MSDS for chemical procured and submit to WSHO
• Obtaining Green Mark Certificate for Green Mark Material from supplier
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
• Prior experience in procurement/purchasing is preferred
• Minimum ITE/Diploma in any field
