About our client: Our client is a manufacturer of offshore drilling and production equipment that is well-suited for use in deepwater applications.

About the role:

• Responsible for employing measuring techniques to determine the most desirable supplier.
• Monitoring supplier performance and recommend necessary action to improve performance (if necessary)
• Monitoring lead times per commodity and adjust as necessary
• Develops and schedules for the execution of the work using internal or subcontracted services, and monitors progress of work.
• Preparing confidential information.
• Perform expediting functions.
• Developing specifications to allow for competitive acquisition of items of a complex nature.
• Acting as a liaison between suppliers and internal company personnel.
• Developing ASL.
• Coordinate with other departments such as QA/QC/Safety, Purchasing, and Engineering.
• Ensure implementation of appropriate company procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

About you:

• Min 5 years experience
• Preferably Diploma in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Work location: Tuas (pick-up transport provided)
• Work hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5.15pm)
