Our client, a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, is seeking a suitable candidate to join the growing team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process – From Planning to issuing of purchase orders to the internal departments
• Work closely with the warehouse and logistics department to resolve any inventory discrepancies and maintain an optimum level of stock
• Liaise and work with the relevant internal departments to update and resolve any issues e.g. invoice discrepancy, inventory issues
• Maintain optimal level of stock buying to ensure sufficient stock level; monitor closely on demand planning for any possible shortage
• Manage supplier performance expectations
• Perform new item creation and ensure all fields are updated
• Identify areas for improvement and propose plans to drive improvements
• Ensure all Pricing Information on the Purchase Orders are Up-to-date and entered accurately into the system
• Update relevant department of any delays in the deliveries; resolve discrepancies on shipments shortage/ access with the department
• Monitor and control the purchasing price and freight saving cost measurement
• Source for short lead team and better intercompany price for projects-based orders
• New vendor creation in the system
• Other ad hoc relevant duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma and above in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing experience
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office; Knowledge of ERP system will be advantageous
• Candidates with experience in process improvement is preferred
