Alongside driving the activities of your team you will work closely together with the other senior managers of SO to actively contribute and further develop our Supplier Operations department roadmap. You will participate in structural improvement projects and you will contribute to optimizing our core processes.

Job Description

• You are responsible for managing a team of Tactical Buyers and drive people, process, performance, and development and secure continuous service for internal and external customers (e.g. factories, suppliers, CS, P&D, SS&P interfaces such as PLM, account leads and the Q&L teams).

• You develop a reliable and efficient quoting process, in line with the global SO standard with focus.

• You will act on operational and tactical level in management teams of the SS&P Management department and set & drive goals in line with the SS&P vision.

• You will coordinate and manage operational annual plans.

• You will build and maintain a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners.

• You will evaluate organizational design for your own functional discipline, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements.

• You coach and continuously develop employees, drive employee engagement whilst securing productivity of the larger team is guaranteed.

Education

A Master's or Bachelor's degree in the direction of Supply Chain Management, (International) Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Finance.

Experience

• You have 8-15 years' experience in a relevant experience in a complex supplier oriented environment.

• Knowledge as well as a proven track record of ERP systems preferable SAP, Ariba.

• People management and previous procurement or supply chain management experience is a must.

• Excellent social and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees.

• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.

• Ability to create and convey a vision including driving implementation to a large number of people.

• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvements methodology.

• Drive to be hands-on and respond to urgent requests, balanced with a strategic continuous improvement view.
