1)\tDevelop and set department's directions & objectives.

2)\tReview customers' material and secondary processes requirements including drawings and specifications.

3)\tSupport sales department on customers' quotation costings.

4)\tCommunicate and coordinate with vendors for all procurement activities.

5)\tPerform procurement activities including sourcing, requesting for quotations from approved vendors, price/lead-time comparison & negotiation, generating Purchase Order, delivery planning and monitoring, etc.

6)\tPerform vendor management including vendor audit, approval and performance evaluation.

7)\tWork with relevant departments to resolve any delivery or quality issues with vendor.

8)\tEstablish good relationships with existing vendors and develop new value added vendors.

9)\tPerform material inventory management including monitoring of stock usage and stock-taking activities.

10)\tConduct department/cross-department trainings relating to supply chain.

11)\tReview relevant procedures and work instructions according to Quality Management System requirements.

12)\tInvolve in customer and external audits.

13)\tPrepare purchasing reports as required.

14)\tAny other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Skills

• \tDiploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.

• \tMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in purchasing functions, including at least 3 years of managerial experience in the manufacturing industry.

• \tAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• \tExcellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

• \tMeticulous, organized and efficient.

• \tHigh level of responsibility and integrity.

• \tProficiency in Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
