Role Purpose
Leads the procurement engineering activities for major equipment and vendor packages across large-scale EPCI offshore projects. Ensures all materials, packages, and equipment meet project technical requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
This is a 12 months contract role, possibly extendable.

Leads the procurement engineering activities for major equipment and vendor packages across large-scale EPCI offshore projects. Ensures all materials, packages, and equipment meet project technical requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
This is a 12 months contract role, possibly extendable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies for major vendor packages such as compressors, pumps, mechanical systems, electrical packages, instrumentation equipment, valves, piping bulks and offshore utilities.
- Review Material Requisitions (MR), datasheets, specifications, and technical attachments prior to issuing RFQs.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE) and coordinate clarifications with engineering teams.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations with vendors.
- Manage vendor interfaces during design, manufacturing, FATs, inspections and delivery.
- Review vendor documentation, ITPs, QAPs, data books and compliance records.
- Ensure vendors meet EPCI requirements related to schedule, quality, classification, and offshore design codes.
- Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, logistics, and expediting teams for timely procurement execution.
- Support risk assessments, cost optimization initiatives and procurement progress reporting.
- Manage long-lead items and critical packages with high operational impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, or related Engineering field.
- 10+ years procurement engineering experience in EPCI or EPC offshore oil & gas projects.
- Good experience with major vendor packages (mechanical, rotating, static, E&I, piping, control systems etc).
- Good understanding of international standards: API, ASME, IEC, ISO, NACE, DNV, etc.
- Solid experience working with global vendors and fabrication yards.
- Strong negotiation and commercial awareness.
