Job Responsibilities
Requirements
- Oversee daily airfreight import and export operations within the Changi Airfreight Centre.
- Lead a team of drivers, coordinators, and cargo handlers to meet operational KPIs.
- Monitor shipment flow, ensure documentation accuracy, and coordinate with warehouse teams, airlines, and customers.
- Manage manpower deployment, resolve ground issues, and support continuous workflow improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and airport regulatory requirements (e.g., SATS, dnata procedures).
- Provide operational reports and escalate incidents when required.
- Support digital initiatives such as RFID/barcode scanning, job tracking apps, and route optimisation tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in airfreight, logistics, transport, or supply chain operations.
- Supervisory experience preferred (team lead, senior coordinator, or similar).
- Familiarity with Changi Airfreight Centre workflows, cargo clearance processes, or CAG/airline procedures is an advantage.
- Able to lead team members, multitask, and manage time-sensitive operations.
- Comfortable with using basic digital tools (e.g., MS Office, job dispatching apps).
- Physically fit and able to work in fast-paced airport environments.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
