- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluation, contracting and vendor management.
- Liaisoning with the China office for rate negotiation, bidding, invoicing.
- Identifying potential new suppliers, conducting due diligence, and managing supplier onboarding processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular analysis of procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements.
- Conducting supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Support initiatives and efforts to manage supplier relationships including administrative and operational activities and issues.
- Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement industry best practice, leverage data to drive best practice across the account.
- Conducting market analysis and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive pricing and value for money.
- Maintain vendor contracts, review them, negotiate the rates , etc.
- Coordinate and manage payments to vendors, adhering to financial protocols and ensuring timely disbursement.
- Oversee the logistics for loading and unloading materials, ensuring all goods meet quality standards and are processed on time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain/business administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement. Experience in furniture procurement, Real Estate and hospitality industry are advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Be well versed in creating and using Excel spreadsheets with complex formula.
- Proven record of working independently, a self-starter.
- High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong team playing skills.
- Act with utmost integrity.
- Able to read and communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers
