Reporting to the President, the incumbent will head the Procurement & Supply Division comprising of the operation, supply, and planning teams. The primary role is to oversee order forecast and management, and the coordination of parts delivery from ASEAN region suppliers to Yazaki factories at the most cost-efficient approach. The secondary role is to be the intermediary between YGP office and Japan Head Office.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of supplier parts managed by YGP to ensure supply chain from Yazaki wire harness factories to OEM production are undisrupted.
- Performs data analysis in preparation for price negotiation with suppliers and Yazaki affiliates.
- Negotiates logistics freight cost and implement appropriate strategies for cost savings.
- Reviews price revisions including simulation on price mark-up.
- Oversees the Division's annual budgeting and forecasting exercise.
- Develops standards to evaluate the annual targets and actions plans.
- Collaborates with the Japan Head Office on commercial matters relating to sub-contractors.
- Provides support to YGP President and Board of Directors from Japan Head Office on Board and business meetings.
- Serves as a liaison officer between YGP and Japan Head Office on reporting matters.
- Participates and supports the YGP President in the Regional Asean leadership meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, preferably with professional qualification in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience preferably within the automotive industry.
- Working knowledge in buy and sell environment, quality assurance, design and development would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including familiarity in SAP, Workday and Concur.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken Japanese is preferred to liaise with Japan Head Office.
