Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Buyer (Procurement) to join our team supporting FPSO module fabrication and installation EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select vendors for structural steel, piping, valves, electrical, instrumentation, and consumables related to FPSO module fabrication & E House building.
• Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations), Purchase Orders (POs), and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate commercial and delivery terms to achieve optimum cost and schedule outcomes.
• Liaise closely with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, QA/QC teams to align material and service requirements.
• Maintain accurate supplier records and procurement data in the ERP system.
• Ensure procurement compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and company procedures.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delay, or non-compliance.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for shipment tracking, material receipt, and documentation.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Prepare regular procurement status reports, cost tracking, and vendor performance analysis.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of procurement experience in EPC / Oil & Gas / Offshore / Marine fabrication projects.
• Strong knowledge of project-based purchasing, vendor management, and import/export procedures.
• Hands-on experience with steel, piping, valves, insulation, and instrumentation / electrical system procurement preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under tight project timelines and coordinate across multiple departments.
• Candidates who can start immediately or on short notice will be prioritised.
