Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Trading Manager to lead the sourcing and trading of meats, proteins, and FMCG commodities (e.g. rice, oils, grains, dried foods, agricultural produce). The role also supports agricultural business operations in India, managing supplier partnerships, pricing, and cross-border trade to ensure reliable supply and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across local and international markets.

• Lead procurement and trading of meats, proteins, and FMCG commodities.

• Oversee agricultural procurement and trading activities in India.

• Manage forecasting, inventory, and supply chain planning to ensure product availability.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure cost efficiency and supplier value.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, import/export, and agricultural trade regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Agricultural Economics, or related field.

• 5-7 years' experience in procurement, trading, or FMCG/commodity wholesale.

• Strong knowledge of meats, proteins, and FMCG/agricultural commodities sourcing.

• Proven skills in supplier negotiation and cross-border trade management.

• Familiarity with India's agricultural sector is an advantage.

• Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.

• Willing to travel occasionally for supplier engagement.

• Results-driven, independent, and entrepreneurial mindset.
