Our client, a leading machine dealer in Singapore specializing in engine and propulsion systems, is expanding and currently seeking a highly motivated Procurement Executive to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

• Implement procurement programs and enhance procurement knowledge within the organization.
• Drive procurement cost-reduction initiatives across the business.
• Support the development and implementation of Group Procurement strategies, policies, and initiatives.
• Execute procurement processes in alignment with company and group-wide standards.
• Ensure Divisional SOPs align with and comply with Group Procurement Policy and Procedures (GPPA).
• Identify and implement tailored procurement strategies to meet various business needs.

Operational Procurement

Vendor Management

• Ensure new vendors are pre-qualified according to GPPA and Division SOP requirements.
• Support Online Vendor Registration (OVR) and ensure complete vendor profiles in the system.
• Assist in vendor audits and performance evaluations.
• Maintain and update the Approved Vendors List (AVL).
• Source new vendors to diversify and expand the supplier base.

Sourcing & Purchase Orders

• Process purchase orders in compliance with Group Procurement Policy.
• Manage purchase orders, open orders, and invoice submissions for approval.
• Source competitive proposals to meet end-user requirements.
• Support ad-hoc procurement requests as needed.
• Participate in stock-taking activities and support internal/external audits.

Tender Management

• Administer contract management activities.
• Prepare tender documents and coordinate tender briefings.
• Compile and evaluate tender submissions in line with Division SOP/GPPA, and provide recommendations to the Tender Committee.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Positive attitude and Good communication and interpersonal skills
