The Corporate Communications Leader is a member of a Corporate Communication Team, composed of communication experts who are collectively responsible for engaging our external audiences, bringing the Infineum brand to life and adding measurable value to our business.

The main purpose of this role is to support our strong reputation and delivery of our strategy, through building a strong brand identity and a transformational culture. Expect to be involved in developing and assisting in the deployment of communications programs that inform, inspire, and engage audiences across the globe through our corporate channels. As such, the candidate must be able to conceptualise, drive, and articulate creative and strategic recommendations in a highly consultative manner, while ensuring execution across a wide range of global media and social media.

In addition, the candidate will need to support our business in Asia with exceptional marketing communications, including some specialist focus in China. This is why the ability to speak both English and Mandarin is essential. Working with the Sales teams in the region you will be expected to create outstanding marketing communication collateral, manage PR and advertising for the region working within a defined budget, while also supporting the internal communication agenda for the AP region.

Key Responsibilities

• \tWorking with key business leaders and corporate teams across the business to develop effective communications strategies that drive value to our businesses, customers, and employees.

• \tEnsuring alignment of product marketing Comms with Internal Comms, External Comms and Marketing Comms in Asia.

• \tEnsuring strategies for the use of metrics and testing that providing insight to assist in making impactful decisions for communications, including all media monitoring.

• \tLeveraging AI to make communication more efficient and engaging for our customers and employees.

• \tDefining the annual communication & PR plan and manage materials and scheduling for news releases, media pitches, fact sheets, FAQs, blogs and social media posts.

• \tManaging and delivering on budget, ensuring we are efficient and effective.

• \tRelationship management with: Local government & community/ Key Media/ Key university/ 3rd party suppliers

• \tWorking on communication support for business growth in the region

• \tOwning the regional crisis communication management and training.

• \tAny other responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• \tExperience in marketing communication for a large/corporate organisation, useful if in chemical industry, but not essential

• \tAbility to create and deliver the communication plan for the region, (with support from a small team of direct reports), PR, Advertising and Sales collateral

• \tAbility to build excellent relationships both internally and externally

• \tProven experience with leveraging AI and new tools as they become available

• \tAbility to write and schedule press releases and manage media relationships

• \tCrisis communication knowledge and experience in the chemicals industry

• \tStrong written communication and fluent in English and Mandarin

• \tStrategic awareness and strong influencing skills

• \tComfortable with some business travel, primarily in the Asia region

• \tMay have a formal qualification in marketing or communications

• \tExperience at event planning and management

• \tAn understanding of how to exploit communication channels, including intranet and websites, LinkedIn and WeChat.
