• Industry/ Organization Type: Heavy Vehicle Repair
• Position Title: Sales Engineer
• Working Location: Islandwide (Main Office: Benoi)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm)
• Salary Package: Salary $2,800 - $3,800
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Talk with customers to understand their service needs and suggest suitable repair or maintenance options.
• Prepare clear quotes and cost estimates for vehicle or trailer services, repairs, and spare parts.
• Help promote value-added services like warranties, service contracts, diagnostics, or vehicle accessories.
• Work with workshop technicians to understand technical problems, explain them to customers in simple terms, and make sure repairs and deliveries are done on time.
• Make sure all sales and service paperwork is correct and up to date.
• Follow up with customers about their quotes, service approvals, and satisfaction after service.
• Build and maintain good relationships with both individual and fleet customers.
• Keep up to date on new automotive technologies, parts, and workshop tools.
• Report to the workshop supervisor/manager to discuss work priorities and get advice when needed.

• Minimum Nitec in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar qualification.
• Must have a valid Class 3 Driving License (Class 4 is a plus).
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and workshop management or CRM systems.
• Training provided for those without direct experience.
• Experience (2+ years) in sales, service advising, or technical support in the automotive or trailer industry is an advantage.
• Team player who can work with, delegate to, or lead technicians to meet daily goals.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and customer-focused approach.
