A leading financial services institution is seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Data Platform Solution Architect to design and drive the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on Azure. This role plays a critical part in shaping the cloud data architecture that supports enterprise-wide initiatives across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust cloud-based data architecture on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks using Databricks and Spark.
• Lead the development of data lakes, ETL workflows, and analytics environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver secure, efficient, and compliant data solutions.
• Implement data governance, privacy, and security standards across systems.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and drive continuous improvements across the platform.
• Stay abreast of Azure and Databricks best practices and emerging tools to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in cloud data architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior design/lead role.
• Experience in financial services, consulting, or enterprise environments
• Proven experience as a data architect or cloud solution architect with a strong track record in Azure data services.
• Deep technical knowledge of tools such as Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Cosmos DB, and Stream Analytics.
• Strong expertise in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) and big data architecture.
