Job Purpose:
We are hiring a Mortgage Sales & Service Specialist on behalf of a bank sector client. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the growth of the mortgage loan portfolio by identifying new business opportunities while delivering a high standard of service to existing customers. You will guide clients through the full mortgage journey-from consultation to approval-while fostering customer loyalty and driving loan retention. This role offers strong development potential and a pathway into sales-focused responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Client Engagement: Proactively identify sales opportunities and build long-term relationships with customers through consistent follow-ups and value-added service. Focus on both acquisition and retention of mortgage clients.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide dedicated end-to-end service throughout the mortgage process-from application to post-loan servicing. Respond promptly to enquiries and issues to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Loan Origination & Servicing: Assist customers in submitting complete and accurate applications for both new and existing mortgage loans. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and service standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. credit, underwriting, operations) to ensure timely and smooth loan processing. Attend regular team discussions and upskilling sessions to support performance goals.
  • Progressive Role Scope: Successful candidates will begin with a focus on mortgage servicing during the first year, before expanding into partial sales acquisition responsibilities from the second year onward.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with empathy and patience
  • Comfortable handling both service-related and sales-related tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving ability and ownership of outcomes
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
